Club guests

Kelly’s Heroes are back at The National Forest Folk Club to bring their very special brand of Irish to Moira. They are always a popular act, supported by fans who have followed them for the past 15 years or so, and loved by people seeing them for the first time.

There is a rare treat for the club this time because the usual full sound of the accordion (Helen O’Connell), voice and bodhran (Tony Dugan), and guitar (Steve Hall) will be even more exciting – there will be special appearances by friends Campbell on bagpipes and whistles as well as Simon on fiddle.

It’s sure to be an electrifying sound, perfect for those of us who like fast and furious tunes and beautifully arranged Celtic songs. The whole musical mix is laced with a smattering of the off-beat Irish humour which all adds up to make KELLY’S HEROES a sure-fire hit wherever they play.

This is certain to be a tremendous night, with the emphasis on fun and enjoyment.
